PowerClick is an excellent piece of freeware, with a simple, user-friendly interface, and uses minimal amounts of RAM. It has an option to force programs to close, which is extremely useful (my computer is very reluctant to shut down otherwise).

This software is a lifesaver for me. No one who uses their PC as a media center should be without it. No more disabling the power settings and screensaver step by step when I want to watch TV. Thanks a heap!
